Bayer Crop Science underscored the potential of regenerative practices and solutions in driving farmer productivity and environmental sustainability during the 56th Pest Management Council of the Philippines (PMCP) Anniversary and Scientific Conference held in Caticlan, Boracay. During the annual Conference, Bayer Crop Science also awarded its inaugural Bayer Regenerative Initiative Award to the De La Salle University – Biological Control Research Unit for its innovative solution for cacao pest management. 

DEKALB® 8282S and DEKALB® 9118S, DEKALB®’s hybrids for Luzon and Visayas, land championship in all three categories at the Regional Corn Derby for Dry Season in Huyon-Huyon, Tigaon, Camarines Sur headed by Department of Agriculture (DA) – Regional Field Office V and DA Tigaon. The competition was showcased 14 corn hybrids from seven participating seed companies, including Bayer, each having two varieties as official entries. 

As the population rises, so does the need for a sustainable and more efficient rice production system to ensure food security. Seed quality, farming practices, and intervention of various key players are equally important factors that contribute to the success of our farmers and their business.
